Elizabeth A. Jones is an associate in the Industrial and Consumer Product Liability Practice Group in the Philadelphia office of Lavin O’Neil Ricci Cedrone & DiSipio. She concentrates her practice on medical liability matters.

Ms. Jones assists with complex medical malpractice lawsuits including arbitrations, mediations and trials. She has conducted depositions and handled hearings. Ms. Jones also works extensively with expert witnesses in reviewing cases and preparing reports.

Examples of Ms. Jones’s experience include:

· Extensively prepared for and assisted lead counsel with arbitration and mediation of cases.

· Prepared motion for summary judgment in breach of contract matter involving construction project that led to the dismissal of plaintiff’s claims against client.

Ms. Jones graduated with a Bachelor of Science in culture and communication, mass media from New York University and earned her Juris Doctor from Villanova University School of Law in Villanova, Pa. Following graduation, Ms. Jones worked as an associate handling insurance defense litigation matters for a solo practitioner. She is admitted to practice in the Supreme Courts of Pennsylvania and New Jersey. She is currently a member of the American, Pennsylvania and Philadelphia bar associations.

Within the Lavin firm, Ms. Jones participated in the planning and execution of the Women’s Luncheon honoring notable women who have been leaders in their respective industries.
